SCANS offers three payment methods: by cheque, by cash or online, by secure PayPal.
By Cheque: Complete the Membership Application Form (press cheque icon to get PDF of the form) and mail it with your cheque(s), made payable to SCANS, and mailed to SCANS, PO Box 33093, Halifax, NS B3L 4T6. Each membership application/renewal form must be accompanied by either a cheque for $155.25, two cheques of $77.62 or three cheques of $51.75 each. If you send post-dated cheques, the first cheque must be dated no later than the last day of the month of the current term. The post-dated cheque(s) must be dated within two months of the date of the first cheque. There is no pay-per-term option.
By Cash: Cash is accepted at the Information & Registration Sessions and at the office. You may print a Membership Application Form (press cash icon to get PDF of the form) ahead of time if you wish, or one will be available at the Information & Registration Session or at the office (but do check the office open hours first).
By online payment: You may make a single secure payment on your credit card through PayPal. Please be advised that the fees associated with using an electronic payment method are charged back, making your single secure payment to SCANS $161.00 instead of $155.25.
Click on the Buy Now button to pay with your credit card or PayPal account. The credit card option is at the bottom, below the PayPal login.
There is no need to complete a separate membership application/renewal form.
